  • Acronym로 편하게 외우기 (기억법 #3)
    영어교사 Teacher Education 2021. 4. 30. 12:53

줄임말 (Acronym)이나 재밌는 문장으로 초중고에서 외워야 하는 것들을 쉽게 기억하는 것들을 모아 보았어요.

    [문법]
    1. Eight Parts of Speech
문법 시간에 parts of speech (품사)를 이번학기 배우는 데, 영어의 8품사 쉽게 외우게 해주는 acronym(앞글자만 딴 글)이에요 바로 PAPA N VIC   파파는 아빠라는 뜻이고 VIC는 미국 래퍼 이름이랍니다. 아래같은 그림을 주면 아이들이 쉽게 기억합니다. (Pronoun, Adjective, Preposition, Adverb, Noun, Verb, Interjection, and Conjunction.)

    2. Seven Coordinating Conjunctions (7

For And Nor But Or Yet So

    [역사/ 지리]

    3. Thirteen Original Colonies

세계사 시간에는  미국의 처음 13 주 (thirteen original colonies)를 쉽게 외우게 하는 이야기예요. 이것 시민권 문제에도 포함되어 있어, 제가 시민권 시험볼때 이렇게 쉽게 외웠습니다.

One upon a time there were five girls: Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, and baby  twins: North Carolina and South Carolina. When they get together, they love to go shopping.  They love news things such as New york, New Jersey, and New Hampshire.  The shopping was so tiring/ exhausting. So they stopped by a hotel, telling the front desk, “ Please Don’t Call My Room.”  Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
